Sunny is an older fellow whom we adopted with his sister Sandy from off the streets in 2008. After the tragic passing of Sandy due to cancer in 2024, we adopted Portland and Cady to help keep Sunny occupied and engaged. He has since informed us that he thinks they are loutish interlopers. Sunny has the markings of a Turkish Van cat and enjoys sleeping, watching television and gazing into mirrors.
While he was an extremely hearty eater for much of his life, in recent years he's become quite picky about his food and will go on a hunger strike if fed the same meal too many times in a row. The Cat Food Project began primarily as an attempt to analyze Sunny's dietary preferences so that we can buy food that fills his furry belly and keeps on the weight.
